Ribbonwork Taster Class - Fuchsia Pot

By Pat Ashton-Smith

This class will introduce you to the pleasure of stitching with pure silk ribbon to produce a delicate piece of work; suitable for framing or sending as a very special greeting card.

The finished work is approximately 4” x 3” which fits nicely into a standard 6” x 4.5” aperture card.  During the class you will learn how to handle silk ribbon, the correct materials/needles to use, simple ribbonwork and embroidery stitches and how to mount your finished work as a greeting card.  The steps needed to complete your finished design will be clearly described using step by step photographs and I will be available online to answer any questions you may have.  I hope you enjoy the course.

Start date December 5th, 2009.
Suitable for beginners.
